Training Officer - Central - Salary: £to36,000 + Bens + Car
Our client is a leading industrial services provider, who due to a growth in business, need to strengthen their training department with the appointment of an ambitious and experienced trainer. Reporting the Training Manager you shall lead a small team in the creation/development and delivery of training across the business. Specifically you shall – Design, deliver, evaluate and implement all training courses for the business including health and safety, plant and equipment, operations and engineering. To design, develop and deliver health and safety procedures training for Group Wide application. Co-ordinate and manage all external training course provision across all departments/functions the business Liaise with internal/external groups and bodies to improve the overall training and development function for the firm. Participate as a member of project teams as directed by Personnel/Training Manager to achieve the successful completion of business objectives. You will ideally be educated to degree level and hold appropriate training qualifications. It is expected that you shall have operated in a commercial environment, ideally an industrial/engineering/production/manufacturing based organisation, and be well versed in various training methods and practises. You will have a demonstrable background in creating training programs and of devising and delivering management development programs. As the business is a multi-site operation so there will be an element of travel in the role.

HR Administrator - Glasgow - Salary: £ to21,000
Our client is a leading engineering firm in Glasgow, who due to some internal changes need to appoint an ambitious HR Administrator. Acting as first point of contact to the department you will be able to demonstrate a friendly and open attitude, whilst respecting privacy and confidentiality as required by professional HR staff. Reporting to the HR Manager you shall play an important role in the provision of HR services to the business, specifically you shall be responsible for -the New hire and leavers process -Contract and variation to contract preparation, induction set up and probation period management -Pension administration -Absence Management administration -Training record management -Employee record management -Issue of entry level employee correspondence (i.e. disciplinary/grievance invitations) and set up of Line Manager meetings -Assist with production of standard forms and templates You will ideally have an HR administrative background, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with further education/degree in an HR related subject
