You will ideally have previous pipeline experience, excellent attention to detail and a familiarity with Oil and Gas practices.
2D and 3D experience would also be a benefit.

Our client is a manufacturer of specialist engineered product for the global oil and gas industry who is seeking a qualified Mechanical Design engineer.

The main purpose of the job will be to deliver Projects/design packs that provide engineered solutions for the company customers. Carry out technical & design activities, liaise with suppliers on technical and engineering matters, customer to establish, through negotiation where appropriate, and confirm precise Engineering requirements.

Applicants will be ideally degree qualified in mechanical engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years experience within detailed design or product design in an engineering environment and have experience within the Hydraulics sector.
