Mechanical Design Engineer - Glasgow - Salary: £30,000 to £40,000
My client designs and builds bespoke, innovative, automated process equipment for a wide range of customers and industry sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead and run customer projects.

Applicants should experience in the following areas:

- previous experience of using Creo/Pro Engineer 3D CAD software
- experience of concept generation, detail design and development
- experience in prototyping and testing of concepts
- experience in assembly and testing of machines
- previous project management experience
- experience in designing products that incorporate sensors, controls, drives, pneumatics, and robotic elements

Applicants will be qualified to HNC, HND or Degree level in Mechanical Engineering or similar with at least 3 years experience in a similar role. QA Engineer - Lanarkshire - Salary: £34,000 to £37,000
My client is a well established engineering company who supply precision engineered products to the oil & gas, aerospace, nuclear and power generation sector. They are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. Your overall remit will be to be involved in the internal and external audit processes and ensure all processes and procedures are compliant to the relevant QMS and ISO standards.

Your duties will include:
- review completed documentation and material certifications against specified requirements
- interpret industry and client specifications
- create quality, inspections and test plans
- plan and perform audits both internally and at supplier sites
- lead investigations into non-conformances, internal rejections and customer complaints
- report on overall quality performance to management
- ensure QPulse system is up to date and accurate
- provide direction and guidance in Root Cause Analysis

Applicants will be qualified to HNC/HND/Degree level in either Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management or Quality Management. You will be a certified Auditor or Lead Auditor of Quality Management Systems. My client would like to hear from candidates with experience in the aerospace engineering sector who has gained experience and knowledge of the AS9100 quality standards. However, candidates with experience in the oil & gas, power generation or nuclear sectors will also be considered. You will have knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and API Q1 as related to engineering or manufacturing.

Internal Sales Engineer - Lanarkshire - Salary: £35,000 to £37,000
My client is a well established engineering company who supply precision engineered products to the oil & gas and aerospace industries. Due to continued expansion, they have a new vacancy for an Engineering Estimator. You will mainly be tasked with reviewing customer enquiries and determining if they are suitable for manufacture.

Your duties will include:
- review of customer enquiries and documentation and provide official tender
- prepare material enquiries based on customer documentation
- liaise with suppliers for materials, purchased parts, costs and lead times
- compile and analyse supplier quotations
- source costs for external providers from approved suppliers
- liaison with production/account managers for suitable lead times
- calculate machine lead times
- undertake specific sales projects as required

To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified mechanical engineer with previous manufacturing experience in a modern CNC machine shop. You will have previous experience of tendering, costing, supplier liaison, customer support and you will have an appreciation of purchasing requirements, scheduling, lead times, cost control and negotiation tactics.

Project Coordinator - Lanarkshire - Salary: £25,000 to £27,000
My client designs and manufactures specialist products for the oil & gas, maritime, material handling, mining and construction industries. They are looking to recruit a Project Coordinator to act as the link between customers (internal and external) and project execution teams. Specifically, the Project Coordinator will ensure the smooth delivery of projects by gathering inputs and matching these to project expectations and timelines.

Your responsibilities will include:
- ensure the facilitation of tasks linked to the overall delivery of designated projects
- expediting logistics of project coordination
- minute taking during project calls and meetings
- own and communicate action plans
- ensure effective communication across all project stakeholders
- control project schedules and plans

My client is a manufacturing and engineering business therefore an ability to read and interpret technical documentation would be an advantage but not essential. You will have excellent administration skills and have a meticulous and methodical approach to your work. Applicants must have first class organisational skills and be able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Communication skills be key for this role as will the ability to coordinate different groups of people across disciplines and seniority levels.
